I created the SaabGarage to share my experiences in working on and modifying classic Saabs. It all started when I purchased my first Saab for $600. It was a 1986 Saab 900S notchback and I was on cloud 9. That is until the death rattle from underneath the hood manifested into a hole in the valve cover and a broken timing chain. And that is where this adventure began.
I currently own a modified 1985 Saab 900 SPG which I maintain on an almost nonexistent budget. Many of my posts will center around this brilliant vehicle but I hope to delve deeper into the mechanical workings of other Saabs in the future.
